August 22: Moab to Capital Reef National Park via Hwy 191, Interstate 70, and Hwy 24. Overnight in Capital Reef National Park Campground.
August 23: Capital Reef to Salt Lake City via Hwy 24, Hwy 72 to Thousand Mountain Lake with scenic overlook of Cathedral Valley, then Hwy 24 to Fish Lake Scenic Loop, then Hwy 24 to Sigurd, Hwy 28 through Gunnison to Hwy 89 through Manti, to Hwy 132 through Fountain Green, to Mount Nebo Scenic Loop through Uinta National Forest, then Interstate 15 from Payson to Salt Lake City.
